Christine recounts her varied and frequently amusing experiences with the Church Army in the UK and then as a WVS staff member with the Armed Forces in Germany and with the WRVS in Asia. Her experiences in Penang were perhaps less hair-raising than her responsibilities in the Church Army home for girls on probation. She recalls what she calls the “God-incidences” that have guided her and continue to guide her as she closes her story with “It’s not the end, just the beginning.”
