The author served two full tours of duty in Northern Ireland during the many years of “The Troubles” and was psychologically affected by the violence he witnessed at close quarters over a prolonged period. He suffered from PTSD (Post Trauma Stress Disorder), but tells how there is help available for sufferers and their families.
